Best Streetwear Trends of 2016 | #BU12xWorldBazaarFestival

2016 was a great year for streetwear and its culture.

Music mogul Kanye West remained the most influential with his works for Yeezy, Pablo merch and his continuous collaboration with Adidas.

This year's women's streetwear was innovated by another music mogul - Rihanna, with her work for Fenty Puma.

Streetwear brands Vetements and Alpha Industries were the most relevant with their own version of bomber and flight jackets.

Pantone 2016 colors Rose Quartz and Serenity dominated the streetwear palette with brands like Adidas and Nike releasing limited edition kicks in the said colors.

Monochrome dressing (creating a look with colors in the same shade) is still a popular trend when it comes to street style.

Top designer brands Louis Vuitton and Gucci made headlines for their version of the "Sukajan" jackets - with major style icons wearing the embroidered jacket trend.

We also believe that the Human Race x Pharell Williams collection brought out every sneaker-heads love for the color yellow.

The Kardashian/Jenner clan made the Yeezy boots famous with their street styles.

90s was also revived this year, and was a huge inspiration to how people wear brands.

Overall 2016 was a great year - and we can't wait to update you on what's to come for 2017.

Thank you so much to all the brands and followers that supported us and to give back, we are still holding a giveaway! More details here - bit.ly/CustomThread
